I’d say the best dive of the trip was a surprise winner of Tahiti! First dive of the trip, we saw at least 15 sea turtles on one dive. It was AMAZING!
Best adventure was sea kayaking and snorkeling on Moorea around the lagoon edge on one of the days not diving.
Rangiroa had soooo many sharks, and large fish like barracuda, tuna, and Napoleon wrasse! I loved the Blue Lagoon snorkel tour, and on one dive we got really lucky with a brief hammerhead sighting. So fun!

Deborah was amazing in planning the honeymoon of our dreams in Maui at The Montage! She was very communicative throughout the entire process and had some fun surprises waiting for us during our stay. By the way, the Montage Kapalua Bay is the most incredible hotel we’ve ever stayed at...We found Deborah through American Express Travel and are so happy that we did. We did the 3 “s’s” while in beautiful Maui: surfing, snorkeling, and spa!! Very excited to work with Deborah again in the future.

We couldn’t be more grateful to have found Deborah to plan our dream honeymoon to Greece and Paris. We originally had a destination in mind that wouldn’t work out due to Covid restrictions, and Deborah didn’t hesitate to plan an entire second itinerary for us to Greece & Paris. She works so diligently and is detail oriented, all of our private transfers on our multi-island trip were executed seamlessly. We had the best time in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini and are looking forward to the next time we’re able to visit some of the other islands.

First of all, we were able to keep the surprise a secret until the day we left! She was very surprised and excited, even though she wasn’t exactly sure where on a map French Polynesia was.
All of the excursions were great! I think my favorite part was swimming with sharks and stingrays and Kayley’s was definitely the spa at the Conrad. She said it was one of the best massages she’s ever had.
All in all thank you for a once in a lifetime trip! We both really appreciate it!

Thank you in particular for the referral in Moorea for Tahitian pearls, Heivai Black Pearl. Not only did they have high quality pearls (mostly A quality) but also had great prices. We mentioned you referred us and they gave 25% off! Wow! We purchased some beautiful earrings for me and pendants for our moms and my sister (who stayed at our home to take care of the moms). All beautiful and great prices. We looked at pearls on every other island and no one came close to what we paid for what we got. Hands down, the single best referral for the entire trip.
All three resorts were lovely and we enjoyed them all. The meal plans were definitely the way to go. We had breakfast daily + 1 lunch at the first two resorts and that worked out great as Matt and I really only eat 2 meals day. For Bora Bora we a plan for breakfast and dinner daily. The dinners were superb. We only made it breakfast once but it was delightful. I think by that time of the vacation we were fully adjusted to the time difference and sleeping later:)
The Taha'a 4x4 tour was really great. The guide took us to a local rum factory too, which was a nice surprise. The asked for everyone's approval before doing so since it wasn't on the itinerary. Glad he took there because it was very nice and it was fun to get to taste some locally made rum.
All of the bungalows were amazing and get larger and better as we went from one resort to another.
The best part of the trip though was the meeting and talking with the local Polynesian people. They were so welcoming and gracious. They were eager to tell us about their cultural and we were eager to learn. Definitely the highlight of the trip.

We can’t thank you enough for planning and organizing such a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. We did not go there with the intention of spending a lot of time lounging on the beach. As we mentioned from the start, as aging senior citizens with some mobility issues, we wanted to focus on learning as much as we could about Costa Rican history and the local traditions and culture. The the five-tour itinerary you set up was perfect and the guides were all excellent.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Thanks for helping me plan our French Polynesia trip. The trip was awesome from start to finish. The Aranui 5 was fantastic and I highly recommend. My husband, Bob, and I have done cruises in the past and are not huge fans but were attracted to the Aranui because it goes to the Marquesas islands and the low-key nature of the cruise. The experience of traveling on a true working cargo ship was a blast. The accommodations were wonderful, the crew was friendly and the food excellent (I think the food was better than what I had on a Seabourne cruise a year ago). Our accommodations at the Tahiti Intercontinental were lovely. What a beautiful property. Thanks so much for the recommendation.

Thanks to Deborah we had the perfect honeymoon! She was able to find us unbelievable accommodations with our trip being less than 2 weeks away and during the Christmas holiday. We visited Tahiti, Taha’a, and Bora Bora. OMG Taha’a! It was everything we didn’t know we needed. The overwater bungalows we had were breathtaking, something straight out of a dream! From the time I contacted her until we returned she was there to help with every request. When we had an issue with our hotel she was readily available to assist by reaching out to her contacts. Had we booked else where I’m convinced that hiccup would have ruined the trip. Deborah truly lives up to her reputation as a South Pacific travel specialist. We returned from our Moorea/Bora Bora trip almost two weeks ago and wanted to let you know how fabulous it was. Moorea was absolutely beautiful and Bora Bora was just a dream come true. The people were all friendly and helpful, the food was excellent (especially Damiens), and the views were breathtaking.
The accommodations you booked for us, especially in Bora Bora, were beyond incredible. We walked into our hut our first day on Bora Bora and couldn't believe our eyes - a gorgeous room with sunset views and beautiful manta rays splashing in the water below us. Even the timing of the trip was perfect because the weather was gorgeous but the crowds were still light.
You experience with the islands, hotels and restaurants was invaluable. To say it was the perfect vacation is an understatement. Thanks again!

Each one of our hotel rooms was charming, with spectacular vistas, and I know you must have had some input on the choice of rooms. At the Intercontinental in Tahiti, we were immediately upgraded in room category, and the concierge, whose name I cannot recall at the moment, mentioned he had been contacted by you. We absolutely loved the overwater bungalows at the Hilton Moorea and Four Seasons Bora Bora. They will give us lifetime memories.

Dear Deborah,
We made it back from Australia, safe and sound! We are still pretty
jet lagged, but it was all worth it. It was the best trip we've ever
taken!
Sydney was fantastic, and the view from our room was unbelievably
beautiful. We did the bridge climb (twice!), went to My Fair Lady and
dinner at Bennelong, which was amazing. We also spent some time at
Manly and Bondi Beaches, and had some wonderful food. Melbourne was so unique, and we loved the penguins, the 12 Apostles rock formations, and the tram car, as well as just walking around the city.
My favorite was Uluru--Longitude 131 was truly luxurious. We had the
most wonderful time there. The flies weren't too bad; they provided
everyone with fly nets in the room but we didn't even need them, which was great. The food here was so good, and the staff were so
professional and great. We even did a camel ride!
And Adrian's favorite was Lizard Island. It was wonderful! The coral
reef is somewhat bleached, unfortunately, but we still had a great
time snorkeling (Adrian went diving).
Thank you so much for coordinating such a wonderful trip! All the
flights were smooth and all of the drivers were timely and courteous.
The flight on East Air to Lizard Island was great and the pilot let
Adrian sit up front so he could "co-pilot" the flight haha! He loved it.
Thank you again, so much, for this lovely trip! We will never forget
it! Already looking forward to planning the next trip--we are open to
ideas and suggestions! :)

We met Deborah while attending a bridal show/expo for our wedding. I never used a travel agent and honestly never thought it was necessary and always booked our trips travel myself. I am sure glad we used her for our honeymoon to Moorea and Bora Bora! She was able to make our dream honeymoon turn into reality. We knew we wanted the total package. This was our honeymoon, a once in a lifetime event. We booked the beautiful overwater bungalows in both Moorea and Bora Bora and it was heavenly!
We are both very busy with work and school schedules, and have limited time, but Deborah made herself available to chat with us on Skype in the evenings, and email many before our trip. She gave us tons of inside tips, promptly answered all of (our many questions) and presented us with many option and pricing. Having gone to Tahiti as many times as she had, she is definitely an expert. As soon as we arrived to both islands we were greeted with beautiful fragrant leis by the staff and promptly driven to our resort. During our entire stay she checked in with the staff to make sure we arrived safely and got us the royal treatment and even some extra perks and surprises that one might never get. You can that she loves her job and makes sure her clients are well taken care of.
My husband and I were treated like royalty at both resorts, but especially at The St. Regis. We didn't touch our bags once, and were greeted with another lei, cold water, and fragrant wet towels and wisked away by a motor yacht. My husband surprised me one night and booked a private romantic sunset catamaran tour that was out of this world, we swam with dolphins, sharks, snorkeled, and ate the most amazing food in the world. I would fully recommend using Deborah in the future and we look forward to going back one day for our anniversary!

"My wife and I recently returned from our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA. We can't thank Deborah Izenberg enough for recommending such a wonderful venue and for all her hard work organizing and facilitating the entire event. With a family of 12, including five grandchildren, there were numerable unique details that had to be coordinated.
For the past 12 months, through many emails and telephone conversations, she very diligently and professionally helped us arrange all the necessary details (i.e., room selection, pricing, activity and dinner reservations, special event coordination, etc.). She worked directly with the Homestead staff, passing on all of our requests, and made it a very memorable experience for our entire family.

We returned from Fort Myers Beach on Sun. The Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina was everything we had hoped for. We even got our room upgraded free of charge. The beach was beautiful. We witnessed lovely sunrises and sunsets. Despite the few glitches, But I do not regret the trip, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We were seeking rest, relaxation, water, and sand, and we got it.

We are back (unfortunately). First and foremost Zach and I would like to say a very very big THANK YOU! Our trip could not have been better or gone more smoothly and we owe that to you. We want you to know how appreciative we were of everything you put together for our trip and that our experience would not have been anything near what it was without you and your hard work. Zach cannot stop talking about you and is trying to convince everyone he knows to go to French Polynesia so you can plan a trip for them, lol. From the flights, to the hotels to the excursions to the meals everything was great. We did not have a problem with getting on any of our 7 flights and the instructions for the various airports were very helpful.
I know Cali is not really your area but the Vintage Inn was AWESOME! So if you ever need to recommend a hotel to anyone staying in Yountsville I would not hesitate to recommend this one. It really was a very nice place. The room and hotel grounds were superb. The staff was as friendly as they are in Tahiti (hard to find that friendliness anywhere in the US these days). And the champagne brunch was delicious and the afternoon tea and finger sandwiches were a great bonus. We visited 4 different wineries and stepped it up with dinner at the French Laundry (we will now have to foreclose on our house) but it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We were very sorry to have to leave but if I had to leave for somewhere I don't think the French Polynesia is that bad ;).
That trip was awesome. All of the transfers were exactly as you said they would be. We would also like to thank you again for convincing us to not stay in Tahiti. Of course you would know best and we are glad we listened. We had about 2hrs to walk around Tahiti in the morning before our ferry and that was more than enough (especially considering it was 6:30am). As you promised the ferry ride was short and not too rocky. We were also lucky enough to be able to check into our room early and even got a nice surprise. You had gotten us upgraded to a premium beach bungalow and when we got there they upgraded us even further to a beach bungalow! Zach was so excited that when we got in the room he jumped right off the deck into the water with his clothes on!! The tours on Moorea were great. For the jeep tour it ended up being just us and another couple (who also spoke english) so that was nice. For dinners we ate at a few of the local restaurants and having breakfast included was definitely a major plus. I would def recommend including breakfast.
At Bora Bora our overwater bungalow was awesome. Just like you see on TV and in magazines. And as you promised the boat road to the hotel was fine, no problem there. In fact it was just Zach and I on the boat, lol. We "stole" bread from breakfast every morning and fed the fish everyday. The tours here were awesome. Again on the jeep tour it was just us and another family. The lagoonarium tour here was really cool. We both really enjoyed swimming in the really long/large "pool" area with the sharks, stingray and fish. We got some great underwater pictures. I am also glad we took the package with dinners included. I'm glad we got to experience the local cusine in Moorea but was even more glad I didn't have to worry about making dinner plans every night in Bora Bora. We ate at the Thalasso one night and then our hotel the other 2 nights. In fact the night we were supposed to go to BLoody Mary's the hotel was having their polynesian show and BBQ and we told the manager we were sad we were going to miss it and he said he would change our reservation for us and get us a table for the show and dinner. So we took him up on his offer and it worked out great. We got to see the show, eat BBQ and go to Bloody Mary's.
Also, I wanted to thank you for your suggestion on the water shoes. We used them almost everyday. They were the best $10 I ever spent (yes I found them at the $5 below store and they actually worked and are still in 1 piece. Who says you can't get good stuff for cheap). We may also have taken the don't drink the water and no milk thing a little too seriously (i'm a little crazy about that type of stuff) but neither one of us got sick so thank you for the warnings. I also personally want to thank you b/c your stories and advice really helped with me convincing zach to follow suit b/c it wasn’t just me and my craziness telling him not to eat/drink things. Well, I wasn't sure how many people actually write you back and comment on things they did and did not like about their trip so i just wanted to make sure i gave a little feedback. I could write tons more but i know you actually have work to do at your job. If there is anything in particular (like a specific excursion, restaurant, etc..)that you specifically want comments or feedback about just let me know and i will be more than happy to provide it. I know you wanted to see a few pictures. I think Zach took like over 1,100 so there are plenty to go around. I am in Texas next week for work (i was actually originally supposed to be there right now but got lucky and the trip got postponed by 1 wk) but over the next few wks I will put together a few of the good picts and send them to you.

Deborah, thank you so much for planning our once in lifetime honeymoon in French Polynesia. It was not easy planning on trip in the midst of a pandemic, and you did it flawlessly. From the time we initially chatted to the day we left, you were so attentive, responsive and proactive.You always let us know about the latest flight changes and covid restrictions asap and provided solutions / helpful advice along the way. Once we started working with you, the stress completely went away and we knew we were in trusted hands! We absolutely loved Rangiroa — the Blue Lagoon is a MUST SEE. It was quite spectacular. Bora Bora was amazing as well and did not disappoint in terms of 5 star service. And even though we could not leave the premises (due to COVID lockdown restrictions), the accommodations that you put us in made up for it. The overwater villa, multiple restaurants on site, stunning spa, and variety of hotel activities kept us happy and busy :)
